Following the success of the Bushfire Forum – Our Community Supporting Recovery held in February 2020 at Beechworth, our wonderful speakers came together again on June 21 to deliver a follow up session.

Due to COVID-19 social distancing restrictions, the session was delivered interactively online. The session built upon previous discussions, with a focus upon maintaining ongoing communication between the community and government, ensuring that we continue to build capacity and support our local community leaders and their efforts.

• Practical advice and information from leading experts in resilience and wellbeing

Leadership at a grassroots level is crucial to the recovery of communities and livelihoods affected by the devastating 2020 Summer bushfires.
Community leaders came together in Beechworth on Sunday, 23 February 2020 to apply their expertise, skills and ideas to the challenges and opportunities that the recovery will bring.
