Towong Shire residents! Are you involved in or interested in joining a community group, association, Committee, or Board? Join us for a series of free, online workshops led by Mary Hoodless to enhance the effectiveness and sustainability of your efforts. Participating groups will also have access to mentoring with Mary, ensuring your group can maximise its use and integration of the workshop learnings.

Session 1: Foundations for Community Involvement (Monday 7th October, 7pm – 9pm)
This workshop will introduce you to the essentials of being an active member. Learn about the importance of new voices in leadership, understand your role and responsibilities, and discover ways to navigate group dynamics and maintain good governance.
Session 2: Sustainability & Succession Planning (Monday 14th October, 7pm – 9pm)
Secure the future of your community group by learning the essentials for sustainability, including succession planning. Our workshop will guide you through assessing skills, creating a plan, and overcoming challenges to ensure long-term sustainability and growth.
Mentoring: Participating groups will also have access to mentoring with Mary, ensuring your group can maximise its use and integration of the workshop learnings.
