As she prepares to retire as the Federal Member for Indi, Cathy will share stories of her experience as an MP and look to future opportunities and challenges for agriculture in NE Victoria. With her Master’s degree in Agriculture and Rural Development, lecturer at the University of Western Sydney, over 20 years consulting to the dairy, sheep & meat, horticulture and sugar R&D programs, inaugural secretary and later President of Australian Women in Agriculture and extensive work in PNG, Cathy brings a particular insight to her role as a rural member of parliament.
