How can communities invest with purpose, build economic strength, and take ownership of the change they want to see?
This online panel session brings together Meaghan Burkett (Ethical Fields), Mary-Anne Scully (ACRE – Australian Centre for Rural Entrepreneurship), YCDCo: Yackandandah Community Development Company, and others working at the frontier of place-based investment and community ownership. Together, they’ll explore how local capital models are being used to tackle complex challenges and strengthen community ownership.
The session includes discussion, Q&A, and space to consider what this could mean in your own context.
Alumni and current participants of AVCL, the Regional Victorian Community Leadership Programs, and Leadership Victoria are invited to attend.
