This course has identified a learning gap for me, and I have now enrolled in Diploma Leadership and Management to increase my knowledge to know more for my work and community projects. Thank you for showing me where to focus my energies.
The Fischer Community Leadership Program enables leadership within the community, from the grassroots up. The intent is to empower local leaders, build strong connections, and inspire positive impact within our regional communities.
The program is aptly named in honor of Tim Fischer, former Australian politician and diplomat who served as leader of the National Party from 1990 to 1999 and who called Boree Creek home.
The program is an initiative of Fischer Community Leadership in partnership with Federation and Greater Hume Councils, auspice by the Border Trust and delivered by Alpine Valleys Community Leadership.
How could you increase your community impact? The Fischer Community Leadership Program has helped over 50 graduates understand themselves, their communities, and navigate challenges to create lasting, community-driven change.
